Wildlife on the Ranch

The Rafter R Ranch has an abundance of wildlife. The wide open grasslands, meadows, and rolling hills contrasted with areas of thick chapparal provide a wide variety of habitats for game. Whitetail Deer, Bobwhite and Blue Quail, Dove, Fall and Spring Turkey, Wild Boar and Javelinas can readily be found. Catch and release fishing for Largemouth Bass and Catfish from the ranch's many ponds are also available to the avid hunter.
